PURPOSE STATEMENT:

JOB SUMMARY

The Screenprint Production Manager will direct and coordinate Screen Print and Prepress functions at a Game One production facility ensuring work standards, productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.  This position is responsible for safety, training, coaching and encouraging of their team at Game One.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Directly supervise, train, communicate to, and encourage all SP team members with the support and assistance of production supervisors.
• Work and communicate with other departments to ensure steady production flow. Manage order queue daily to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
• Establish or adjust work procedures and schedules to meet production demands.
• Implement training procedures for newly hired team members to ensure training is thorough and standardized.
• Prepare for and conduct performance reviews for SP team members.
• Identify and implement training methods that will enhance department efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and maintain department inventory of supplies.
• Maintain performance data on team members.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
• Keep the Operations Manager informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of objectives, offering ideas and viable solutions.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong operational experience, with ability to manage and lead people and processes.
• Lean Manufacturing and 5S experience strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude is an asset.
